Our prices have been adjusted to reflect the increased cost of movements and galvanic treatments, as well as the more elaborate decoration of our " Top " finish movements.
Over the past 8 years, I have devoted myself entirely to developing Antoine Tavan 1805. My aim is to offer original, handcrafted watches directly to customers, including Grand Feu enamel and skeleton models. I believe in restoring a close, warm relationship of trust between the customer and watchmaker.
Today, I would like to introduce one of my creations, designed and crafted entirely in my workshop (pictured above). This watch features an automatic Concepto 2824 movement, which I have personally modified to display the time over 24 hours. It also has a curved Grand Feu enamel dial, made using a delicate, time-honoured technique that ensures lasting durability and decoration. Two raised, engraved semicircular scales display daytime hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the upper scale, and nighttime hours from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the lower scale. Part of the oscillating weight can be personalised with raised engraving, such as a name or date. All three steel hands are cut, shaped and polished by hand. As the hand hour moves, a luminous sun and moon indicate which semicircular scale to use to read the time. Minutes and seconds are shown on the raised chapter ring.
